No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to have a decent life. We deserve to feel strength and stability day after day.
Our Mission:
By mobilizing volunteers and community partners, Habitat for Humanity Manitoba works with people from all walks of life to build safe, decent, and affordable housing for purchase by low-income working families.
About Habitat for Humanity Manitoba:
Habitat for Humanity Manitoba builds homes for low-income working families to purchase through a no money down, interest free mortgage. Habitat families are selected through a rigorous process with the main criteria being the low-income guidelines set by Statistics Canada. With the help of volunteers, donors, and community partners, we have helped over 500 families and more than 1,400 children in the Province, including Kenora, Ontario.
Current work:
Your support would help us make significant strides in our Pandora Avenue West project, the largest in Habitat Manitoba's history. This ambitious development, situated on three acres of land, will include 11 blocks of five townhouses each, totaling 55 homes when completed in 2025. These homes will be energy-efficient and have a carbon-neutral footprint, setting a new standard in sustainable housing in our province.
By becoming a monthly donor to Habitat for Humanity Manitoba, you provide consistent support that helps local families build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership in our community.
