Our Mission

Hemoglobal's clinical teams work together hand-in-hand to:

Create comprehensive care facilities and educate its staff about adequate clinical care for children in developing countries affected with inherited blood diseases;

Donate medical supplies to pediatric wards in developing countries;

Improve quality of care in the treatment of the hemoglobinopathies worldwide;

Educate patients and their care-providers about the hemoglobinopathies;

Develop international initiatives to study and treat thalassemia and sickle cell anemia in developing countries, the most common single gene disorders world-wide.

Hemoglobal is a charity dedicated to providing medical care, equipment and education for children around the world affected by inherited and chronic anemias. Hemoglobal is made of a coalition of international doctors and health professionals, and is based in Toronto, Canada.
