ART IS WELLNESS MUSIC IS LIFE
The Highs & Lows Choir is a peer-managed four part choral group that has been around since the mid-'90s. We seek to promote mental health and wellness by providing folks with lived experiences of mental illness with access to choral singing, musical activities and instruction.
We meet weekly (except for the month of August) from noon to 1:45 pm at the Unitarian Church at West 49th Avenue and Oak Street in Vancouver.
We don't charge for membership or music, do not have a choir uniform and we don't hold auditions. We try to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all of our members.
Come and join anytime - our singers are both people with mental illness and friends and allies.
