Aperçu

Join us as we launch a yearlong celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Temple Israel Ottawa!

Celebrations begin with this Klezmer concert by Josh Dolgin and 3 musician friends, co-hosted by CBC personalities Alan Neal and Laurence Wall.

Josh (aka So-called), who is a two-time Juno award nominee and has appeared with the likes of Yitzhak Perlman, Frank London, Theodor Bikel and others, is known for his eclectic mix of blending Klezmer, hip hop and other genres. He will be kicking off our year of celebration with a concert of well-loved Klezmer and Yiddish show tunes.

We are thrilled that Josh, now living in Montreal, will be returning to his Ottawa and Temple roots. His parents are known to many in the community and are active Temple members.

You will have the opportunity to meet the artists and share a nosh after the show.
