The LAPS “Furry Tails Foot Race” is a FUNdraiser to help raise funds for Langley’s stray, lost and unwanted dogs and cats.

Put your best foot forward as you challenge yourself and other “heros for animals” on the beautiful trails at Derby Reach Regional Park.  You can run or walk the 5km route or really get your heart pumping over 10km.  Whatever your choice, your effort will make a difference.

With spring birds singing in the trees and the gentle flow of the Fraser lapping at the shoreline, there is no better way to get out and get moving. Both courses will be well marked with plenty of friendly volunteers keeping you hydrated and on course. After your run (or walk), please hang out with us and enjoy yummy treats.

After all, the best part about running is the post race!

À propos de cet organisme

The Langley Animal Protection Society’s mandate is to promote the physical, emotional and psychological well being of companion animals in Langley. We carry out our mandate through the use of professional and humane animal control methods and innovative animal welfare programs. Since 2003, LAPS has worked hard to make the welfare of the shelter animals its top priority. Our unparalleled animal enrichment programs reduce stress and keep the animals healthier and happier while they wait for new homes. Thorough adoption procedures ensure that LAPS dogs and cats find the best possible homes. We also help the animals living in the community though our pet food bank and our Trap, Neuter, Release program for free-living cats. You can read more about these programs here
