Every fall, LAPS hosts a Furry Tail Endings Gala to celebrate the many happy endings that we have helped create for Langley’s stray, lost and unwanted animals. This semi-formal event is our biggest fundraiser of the year and brings together hundreds of animal lovers for an evening of dinner, dancing, live entertainment and live and silent auctions. LAPS is a small organization but this event has helped us do huge things for companion animals in the City and Township of Langley. Without the support of our generous gala guests, many of our industry leading programs, such as our dog adoption program or our Trap, Neuter, Release program, would not be possible.

Starting at 5:00pm, the 11th Annual Furry Tail Endings Gala will be held at the Coast Hotel & Convention Centre in Langley on November 3, 2018. Your ticket includes a 4-course dinner, entertainment, and will help pay for one spay or neuter for a needy animal.

À propos de cet organisme

Since 2003, LAPS has worked hard to make the welfare of the shelter animals its top priority. Our unparalleled animal enrichment programs reduce stress and keep the animals healthier and happier while they wait for new homes. The Langley Animal Protection Society’s mandate is to promote the physical, emotional and psychological well being of companion animals in Langley. We carry out our mandate through the use of professional and humane animal control methods and innovative animal welfare programs. Thorough adoption procedures ensure that LAPS dogs and cats find the best possible homes. We also help the animals living in the community though our pet food bank and our Trap, Neuter, Release program for free-living cats.
