La vente de billets pour cet événement est maintenant terminée.

On Friday September 29th 2017, 6:00pm, join hundreds of walkers as we light up the night with as many Glow bands, sticks, necklaces and neon glow-in-the-dark face paint that we can wear for a 2K or 5K experience. The walk starts and ends at the Arnprior District High School track and is followed by an all ages black light "Afterglow" Party where prizes, awards and treats are handed out to all participants.

All funds raised will go to our local L'Arche communities - to find out more about the mission of L'Arche, go to www.larcheottawa.org or www.larchearnprior.org

We'll be joined at the event by our good friends from the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation.

Minimum fundraising goal is $40 per person which includes an event T-shirt, free swag, all the Glow you can wear, face paint, treats, prizes and the knowledge that your efforts go directly to help the most vulnerable of our society lead good lives!

This is a rain or shine event - it will be moved into the high school in case of foul weather

Off line registration sheets are also available from Greg @ gregoryhotte@larcheottawa.org or by calling hin at 613-240-1678

À propos de cet organisme

L'Arche has existed in Canada since 1969 when the first community, Daybreak, was founded in Richmond Hill. There are now 29 communities spread across Canada from Vancouver Island to Cape Breton which offer 200 homes and work programs to adults with intellectual disabilities. In this region we have 3 communities, Gatineau, Ottawa and Arnprior supporting over 90 adults with intellectual disabilities in loving supportive homes alongside assistants who live and grow alongside our "Core Members" in a spirit of mutuality.
