Information sur les billets
This will be a day to meet others who work in, around, or who are interested in learning more about water issues in the province. There will be some time in the morning to introduce yourself and tell the group what you are working on or what you are particularly interested in as it pertains to water in Manitoba. This will be a way for member groups to update everyone on what they are doing. We’ll then have an update on some local water legislation from the province, and we’ll hear about some very important community based monitoring work being done by the Lake Winnipeg Foundation.
The afternoon will be all about Indigenous water knowledge. We’ll learn about some local water issues/research, how we can interact with Indigenous peoples in a respectful and inclusive manner and work together on water issues within the province.
