This is the Northumberland Land Trust's premiere fundraising event. Join your family and friends for this GALA DINNER FUNDRAISER. It includes dinner, a live auction, a silent auction and a guest speaker. Proceeds will support our stewardship activities on the 481 acres of our six properties. We maintain these Nature Reserves as wildlife habitat, for education, and for passive recreation by the general public.

He has published several books, papers and reports, including a book on The Climates of Canada, and two bestsellers: The Day Niagara Falls Ran Dry and Blame It On The Weather. He is the originator and author of the Canadian Weather Trivia Calendar, the most popular calendar sold in Canada, and now in its 30th year. David frequently appears on national radio and television as a commentator on weather and climate matters. À propos de cet organisme

Our Mission The rolling hills, farms, forests and waterways of Northumberland County have been cherished by generations. The Northumberland Land Trust (NLT) is a non-profit, non-government organization dedicated to preserving this natural, historical and cultural heritage of Northumberland County. The NLT is committed to working with landowners to help ensure that these cherished landscapes will also be there for future generations. Since 2004, NLT has helped protect over 450 acres of special natural lands in the Oak Ridges Moraine and other areas of Northumberland County Properties and conservation easements have been donated to us by individuals with a great love for nature. Our goal is to protect natural lands by: • accepting donations of significant lands to manage as nature reserves • entering into conservation easements with willing owners to legally protect natural areas
