Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to boogie as Ottawa Therapy Dogs (OTD) celebrates good dogs in great music.  This is the theme for this year’s dinner and dance fun fundraiser, which includes silent and live auction, cocktails, entertainment and dancing.

OTD is a small, registered charity with nearly one hundred teams of people and their pets who offer regular therapy dog visits to people of all ages from all walks of life in schools, hospitals and other settings.

Come meet our four therapy dog ambassador teams- good dogs doing great work in the Ottawa region. Each team will be profiled during the dinner with great music written about dogs across different musical genres and times: rock, country, blues, folk and rap.

Join us at 6 p.m. to mix and mingle, enjoying cocktails at the cash bar and our fabulous silent auction.

Seating is first come first served except for table purchasers and sponsors. Come early to meet our four ambassador therapy dogs, perhaps star in a photo op with one of them!

Dinner and program begin at 7 p.m.

Around 8 p.m. entertainment starts with both musical and video features.

Dancing to the DJ follows from 9 to 11 p.m.

A tax receipt (for $35-$45) is provided to the ticket purchaser immediately.

We regret we cannot provide refunds.

À propos de cet organisme

Someone you know may need assistance and care over the years ahead. That care may be in a hospital, a retirement home, a long-term care facility, or even a school. OTD is the largest therapy dog organization in the National Capital Region with nearly 100 therapy dog teams. Annually, we regularly visit over 1,500 clients in 75 local health and educational facilities. OTD, a registered charity of volunteers, has a 16 year history of promoting well-being through the human animal bond. Our teams undergo vigorous training, evaluation and orientation with their own companion animals to ensure safe therapeutic interaction.
