The PACT Urban Peace Program builds peace and hope in our communities.
We do this by supporting and empowering youth and our most vulnerable populations through integrated, best-practice programming.
______
We enrich and support education through experiential, activity-based workshops delivered in our Grow-to-Learn outdoor school gardens.
We build capacity and encourage positive change in at-risk youth both within the school system and those already in conflict with the law through the Lifeplan Coaching Program.
We help youth build self-efficacy and social emotional skills, and give back to their communities, through early prevention Life & Job Skill programs.
We strengthen community wellness, provide safe spaces for belonging and address food security through our feeding programs and school yard urban farms.
_____
The PACT Grow-to-Learn Emergency Food Box aims to support the emerging and unprecedented nutritional needs of vulnerable populations in Lawrence West.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the PACT Grow-to-Learn Urban Farms will unfortunately be closed to the public this 2020 season. We are committed to focusing our efforts on adjusting and finding innovative ways to continue to serve the hundreds of individuals and families that rely on us for fresh food every year.
Demand is greater than ever. Please consider giving to help us provide fresh produce and a cooked meal to 400 people each week.
PACT is almost entirely privately funded through generous businesses, foundations, service clubs and individuals.
