À propos de cet organisme

Simcoe & District Humane Society has been performing animal welfare services ~ aiding animals in distress since the 1950's and officially chartered in January 1953. Volunteers and The Foster Care Program has always been an integral part of the Society, with no paid staff and as it has not had a physical shelter to call its own. The SDHS relies on donations from the community, and assists as many animals possible within their means. Public Awareness and Good Pet Ownership Education has been a key component in the Society's community involvement . Vision Statement “For all animals to be treated with compassion without the threat of ever being unwanted or abandoned and that they might live in a community where overpopulation of companion animals is diminished by humane intervention not euthanasia”. Mission Statement To inspire, provide and promote a healthy and protective environment for all animals of Norfolk County.
