Sunshine House is a community drop-in and resource center focusing on harm reduction and social inclusion. We work to provide programming that fulfills people’s social, community, and recreational needs. Participants can come as they are, and are not expected to be “clean” or sober.

Our core programming:

DROP-IN: a program ran 5 days a week as a safe space for community members to come in for a cup of coffee, a meal, conversation and fun activities (Sunday-Thursday, 11-4pm)

LIKE THAT: a program that provides a space where people exploring gender and/or sexual identity can gather at Sunshine House for fun, skill building and recreation (Monday & Wednesday, 6-9 p.m.).

MOPS: our newest program is our mobile overdose prevention site(MOPS), at this site folks are able to gather resources as well as harm reduction supplies and drug testing supplies, folks can also use their drugs in a safe environment under supervision of peers in the hopes to lower the number of overdose deaths do to toxic drug supply.

GIZHIWENIMIN: a program dedicated to queer folx as well as new comers, focusing on supplying resources to navigate systems and building capacity for community. 

STREET FEET: Our foot care clinic runs on Tuesdays and helps keep peoples feet in tip top shape, it offers folks basic podiatry care.
