Canadian Mental Health Association Alberta East Central Region provides support to persons with both a developmental disability and mental illness. Our Welcome Centre allows for inclusive drop in space for individuals experiencing mental illness as well as caregivers and interested community members. Recovery College provides free wellness courses to the community. Caregiver Connections is a drop in support group for parents and caregivers to those living with mental health concerns. Our shared living residential program is for people with severe and persistent mental illness, tenants are independent and receive peer and staff support. Vibe is an after school youth program (ages 11-15 yrs) that focuses on the elements of wellness and helps build resiliency through fun and open communication.
