Information sur les billets
Let's see what we can find using our binoculars, cameras and a net as we walk along the trail. You will learn basic identification skills by using an assortment of field guides. Possible species include butterflies such as blue, duskywing, swallowtail and viceroy, and dragonflies such as baskettail, whiteface, bluet, forktail, darner and skimmer. Wear closed-toed, waterproof footwear, bring sun protection and lunch; a camera if you have one. There will be a limited supply of close focus binoculars, nets and bug jars available for use. Depending on what is found at the first location, there might be carpooling to additional locations. Each participant will be provided with a Carden Biodiversity Checklist.
