The Greek Community of Toronto is a non-profit charitable organization founded in 1909 and representing over 150,000 Canadians of Greek origin in the Greater Toronto area. The Community and its members share a common desire to serve and promote the organization's goals. They are committed to providing an environment for Greek culture and the flourishing of the Greek heritage, thus enriching the social and cultural fabric of Canada.

The role of the Greek Community of Toronto has been of great importance for the social, political and cultural support of Greek immigrants. Today, having over 110 years of historical life with countless volunteers, promotes Hellenism, Greek-language education, heritage, traditions and democratic values.

Its mission is to preserve and promote Hellenism and Hellenic culture, heritage, traditions, democratic values and the Greek language, and to support the Canadian Hellenic community through its various programs, activities and events.
