About the Jackie Fisher Foundation

The Jaclyn Fisher Foundation was created in memory of the late Jackie Fisher, an extraordinary young woman who’s life was tragically cut short at age 25. Despite suffering from chronic illness all of her short life, Jackie was a dedicated, kind and generous person who believed in helping others.

The Jaclyn Fisher Foundation goes beyond basic grant giving by empowering local heroes and amplifying their work. By creating and mobilizing a network of caring changemakers, we keep Jackie’s memory alive and honour her extraordinary spirit.

Our mission

The Jaclyn Fisher Foundation is dedicated to continuing Jackie’s legacy of giving, of herself and her resources, for “Tikkun Olam”*, the betterment of her community and the greater world.

In collaboration with you, our partners and donors, we plan to contribute to and influence positive change in the areas of health, education and wellbeing, in Jackie’s name and spirit.

*Tikkun Olam is the Jewish Kabbalistic concept of repairing the world through acts of kindness, selfless giving and the pursuit of peace & light.
