Marian Centre is mainly known for being a drop-in centre in the Edmonton inner city. It has been in operation since 1955 and is operated by a small community of 8 people, along with the help of many generous volunteers. The staff assigned to live here form a family whose members lead a simple life of prayer and service. We do not receive a salary. Our life and work here are a call and a free gift.

Those who come to Marian Centre come to our house and are welcomed into our home. In our dining room, everyone is welcomed for a hearty, tasty and nourishing breakfast, good coffee, juice and a smile, served by staff and volunteers. Sandwich bags are distributed as requested. We also have an emergency clothing room where clothes, street-worthy shoes and boots, and toiletries can be made available to our friends.
