About The YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick
The YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick is a charity that provides programs and services that are available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstance.
The Y offers child care, after school and camping programs for children and youth in 12 satellite locations. Giving our kids a safe, secure and fun place to be allows us to enhance their experience, by engaging them in activities as they play, learn and grow.
The Saint John Regional Y is home to Y Newcomer Connections that provides resettlement, language and employment training for newcomers. It is also an active Fitness and Aquatic facility that promotes well being in children, adults and families.
The Y provides a positive, value based environment that is inclusive and caring.
The Y provides a place:
- to belong regardless of age, ability, economic circumstance or culture.
- to grow through volunteer opportunities, work placements, Y employment training programs, Settlement Services and the Y's youth Leaders-in-Training program.
- to contribute time, talent and treasures as a volunteer, as a YMCA member and as a charitable donor.
