Support TMC webcasts

Live concert webcasts are an important outreach initiative of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. In 2015/16 the TMC made four concerts accessible internationally through webcasting and we plan to webcast four concerts in 2016/17.

Webcasts enable people living in areas without access to professional choral concerts to experience great performances. They also make concerts accessible to those in the GTA who can’t afford tickets or who have mobility challenges that make getting to a venue difficult.

Here’s what one webcast viewer of the 2015 Festival of Carols told us:

 “What a treat! Thank you for sharing. I am watching in the far NW of British Columbia where we don't have these type of performances. They permit me to connect to the bigger world and especially Choral music. I appreciate the kind folk who sponsor these performances so that the world outside of Toronto can watch.”
