About TransCare Community Support Services

TransCare Community Support Services, (formerly Scarborough Support Services), is a registered, charitable corporation providing high quality care and compassionate service to seniors and adults with disabilities since 1976.

As a charitable organization, TransCare Community Support Services' employees and volunteers take pride in making a commitment to demonstrate the value and behaviours for serving vulnerable individuals in the community.

TransCare adheres to the Imagine Canada Code of Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability.

TransCare provides a range of in-home and community based services to seniors and adults with disabilities including; delivery of special dietary meals; transportation to medical, grocery shopping and community programs; therapeutic social and recreational activities to benefit individuals and provide caregivers respite; community dining and recreation activities; home help, homemaking, and respite care; home first and home at last programs.
