À propos de cet organisme

United Way of Northern BC is committed to achieving community change – focusing on addressing underlying causes, strengthening the community network of services and capacity of non-profits, influencing public attitudes, systems and policy, and engaging community dollars, influence, time and knowledge. In Dawson Creek, we fund the Better At Home Seniors Program, Success By 6, Dawson Creek Northern Brain Injury Association, and starting July 1st 2016, we will now ALSO be funding the Dawson Creek Municipal Public Library Afterschool Library Kidz Program, Networks Ministries Good Food Box Program, and the Dawson Creek Literacy Society's Child Minding for the Community Literacy Program. We are also the co-organizers with Rosenau Transport for the Dawson Creek 18 Wheels of Christmas (in November and now July!), where we raised 17 pallets of food and 2 pallets of toys in 2015 for the Dawson Creek Salvation Army Food Bank.
