About QUINTE BALLET SCHOOL OF CANADA
The Quinte Ballet School of Canada was established in 1972 by former National Ballet of Canada dancer, Brian Scott. Located in Belleville, Ontario the School offers one of the best professional dance training facilities in the country. Students attend the full-time dance program from across Canada and around the world. Desirée Botting has moved into the role of Artistic Director in July 2025, with continued support and mentorship from Catherine Taylor, Artistic Director Emerita.
Quinte Ballet School alumni have performed in major dance companies across Canada and around the globe. Many graduates have also gone on to exciting non-performing careers in the arts and arts-related disciplines. Here are just a few… Broadway, with the National Ballet of Canada, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Ballet Classique de Paris, Alberta Ballet, Ballet Kelowna, Ballet Jorgen, Portuguese National Ballet.
