Island Sexual Health Community Health Centre is a non-profit agency that has served the Greater Victoria, Vancouver Island, and Gulf Islands communities since 1969. ISHS was formerly a part of Planned Parenthood, and became an independent society in 1986. ISH CHC envisions a community where holistic, comprehensive sexual and primary health care is accessible to all individuals, and where systemic barriers to care and education are dismantled.

Our mission is to provide timely, accessible, client-centred care which embodies holistic wellness, including exemplary sexual health education and care.

We define sexual health as a state of physical, emotional, mental, and societal well-being related to sexuality.

Your donation enables us to:

-provide clinical care to more than 23,000 clients yearly

-educate more than 20,000 youth, educators, health care, and service providers yearly

-distribute more than 500,000 safer sex resources such as condoms, gloves, and dams yearly

-offer gender affirming apparel on a sliding scale to clients
