Lethbridge Public Library is a welcoming, inclusive space that connects and strengthens community through equitable access to learning and leisure. The library is the community’s choice for the pursuit of literacy, leisure, learning and innovation.

The Lethbridge Public Library - Connecting You! We invite you to come in and connect with your community at each of our 3 branches: the Main Branch in the heart of downtown, The Crossings Branch in West Lethbridge Centre, and on our Bookmobile which travels across the City. Or visit us online to access digital content and learn about our many programs at www.lethlib.ca.
In 2023, there were just over 300,000 in-person visits to the Library (Main and Crossings branches, and Bookmobile) and 1.1 million visits to the Library’s website! 23,244 people held a Library card and there were over 1.2 million items circulated from our collections. The Library hosted over 37,000 people at our programs and events.
The City of Lethbridge Library Board is is established under the Alberta Libraries Act, and hopes to raise approximately $70,000 at an estimated cost of $6,000 this year, to be used for the expansion of programs and services.
