Hundred Acre Wood is a registered Canadian charity and licensed non-profit forest school and childcare centre in Grey County, Ontario. We believe children need nature, and nature needs children.
Through year-round, nature-based learning, children from 18 months to 13 years spend their days exploring forests, fields and gardens, learning through play, curiosity and meaningful connection to the natural world. Our programs help children build confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging while developing a relationship with nature that can last a lifetime.
More than 250 families connect with Hundred Acre Wood each year through licensed childcare, forest school, camps and community programming.
Now, we are building a permanent home where this work can continue and grow. Our new property will protect access to nature-based learning, create more licensed childcare spaces and give generations of children a place to learn, explore and grow.
