StayWell Suites Charity started in 2018 after a chance encounter with a double-lung transplant patient relocating to Toronto with their family for medical care. This opportunity brought to light the significant need for patient relocation funding.
StayWell started in 2018, providing 135 nights to 3 patients. By the end of 2023, we have provided approximately 70,000 nights to 4000 patients and caregivers. We work with all major Toronto hospitals, including SickKids, Sunnybrook, Sinai Health, St. Michael’s Hospital, and University Health Network (UHN).
