About ST ANDREW'S CHURCH KING STREET TORONTO
St. Andrew's is a dynamic and historic community of faith, located in the heart of downtown Toronto. For close to 180 years, the people of St. Andrew's have worshipped and served in the downtown area. The people of St. Andrew's come from all parts of Toronto, and from many different backgrounds. We extend a warm welcome to all, regardless of age, gender, culture, orientation, economic status or theological background. Together, we seek to be a caring and compassionate community.
There are many opportunities for participation and engagement, including weekly worship services (Sunday morning and Thursdays at noon); Bible study groups (Sunday and Wednesday mornings); spring and fall lecture series; special Lenten and Advent midweek services; and mission outreach projects such as the 'Out of the Cold' meal for the homeless and poor, and the 'Boarding Homes Ministry' which reaches out to those in boarding homes in the downtown Toronto area.
