St. James United Church is a Community of Faith that gathers to facilitate spiritual development, nurture faith, celebrate diversity, seek justice and love radically.
We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 4 Territory and the homeland of the Metis nation. We work towards faithfully moving forward in partnership with indigenous and non-indigenous siblings in the spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
As an Affirming Ministry we welcome and are a safe place for LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit people to worship alongside allies in the quest for equality of all individuals. Guest speakers or presenters are called upon to provide awareness and/or education to assist us in understanding what it means to be welcoming as an affirming ministry.
