Our Mission
ACAT Canada works to prevent and fight all forms of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment in Canada and around the world. Our actions are based on a number of national and international legal instruments, such as the Convention against Torture, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as Christian values of respect for human dignity (Matthew 25:40).

Annual general membership fee: To become a member of ACAT Canada, all you need to do is make a donation of $35 or more.Annual student membership fee: Students pay $10. To confirm your student status and validate your membership, please e-mail a copy of your student card to acat@acatcanada.org
