First Lutheran Church is located in downtown Toronto in the Toronto Metropolitan University precinct. Our mission: sharing the “love of Jesus: building a diverse, accessible, justice-seeking, welcoming, engaged community in a complex downtown neighborhood.” We invite you to consider a one-time or on-going gift to First Lutheran. The congregation maintains and supports a Little Free Pantry attached to the church. It also supports Toronto's leading Queer Gospel Choir, InKlooSiv Voices, and a Student Christian Movement ministry at TMU. Weekly worship, pastoral care, visits to the homebound and hospitalized are amoung our ministries. Our staff include the pastor, the director of music, worship coordinator and student minister. In 2026 First Lutheran will celebrate the 175th anniversary. We are grateful for all contributions to further our mission in the heart of Toronto. Thank-you.
