Our Mission

To improve the quality of life for those affected by schizophrenia and psychosis through education, support programs, public policy and research.

Who We Are

Schizophrenia Society of Alberta (SSA) is the only organization in Alberta that directly supports people with schizophrenia and their family and caregivers. Our goal is to provide access to our programs to all Albertans affected by schizophrenia.

Our branches in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Medicine Hat, Camrose, and Lethbridge offer free services and programming in person, over the phone, and online.
