The 2023 Girls Summit is an empowering, mission-focused community conference for 125 girls in grades 4 to 8 on June 30, 2023. Throughout the day, girls will participate in unique hands-on workshops and activities that will encourage curiosity in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, build leadership skills, and increase confidence in their abilities.

Girls Summit 2023 will be the second ever Summit event with the intention of becoming an annual event. Due to an overwhelming number of registrations and exceptional Summit feedback from participants and their parents after our first event, we have secured the St. Lawrence College Event, Conference and Banquet Centre to both accommodate 66% more girls and inspire participants to pursue post-secondary education.

Participants will be transported to and from the venue by school buses and we will arrange pick up points throughout our service district to ensure transportation is not a barrier to participation. A light breakfast, snacks throughout the day and a boxed lunch will be provided. Girls will leave the event with their very own Girls Inc. t-shirt and a conference bag filled with Girls Inc. merchandise and exciting items sourced from local businesses. The Girls Summit event is completely free of charge to families.
