Who We Are & What We DoThe Domestic Violence Victims Alliance & Retail Therapy KW Thrift was founded in 2022 by Amanda Kroetsch, a DV survivor still in active recovery.
Despite tapping into every resource available for victims of violence, it was and still is not enough. She decided to fill a much needed gap in the community by creating a charity thrift that focuses on supporting survivors in the early stages of their new life and recovery. Thanks to the community generously donating their gently used items, we are able to help survivors save thousands of dollars in start over costs and create new lives outside of abuse.
