5000 Farms is a Christian non-profit farming organization dedicated to growing quality produce and protein to reduce food insecurity in New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada. All food raised is donated into the Atlantic Canadian food security network and distributed to those in need.
Season 2024 - We planned to grow and harvest +225,000 lbs of fresh produce and Chicken for the Atlantic Canadian food security network. Our total came in at 252,417 lbs. !
Season 2025 - Last year was a difficult year in agriculture with significant drought experienced in the region. Despite this, we still managed to produce over 128,000 lbs. of fresh vegetables and protein.
Season 2026 – We are working to grow and harvest 300,000 lbs of fresh vegetables and protein, all donated to support food security across Atlantic Canada. To make this possible, We are looking to raise $300,000 in operating support to sustain our operations. Your generous donations help cover costs such as seed, fertilizer, fuel, equipment, and repairs. With your continued support, we can increase the amount of fresh food reaching families and individuals in need across our region.
