Our Mission
604 Squadron's mission is to provide young Canadians aged from 12 to 18 who live in the Calgary area, with a variety of challenging and rewarding activities by delivering the Air Cadet Program. That Program aims to:
-- Develop leadership and good citizenship.
-- Promote physical fitness.
-- Stimulate an interest in the air element of the Canadian Forces.

Air Cadets participate in flight-related activities and have a chance to earn their civilian pilot licenses through the Air Cadet program. They are encouraged to become active, responsible members of their communities and learn valuable life and work skills like teamwork, leadership, and citizenship. Air cadets also reap the personal benefits of increased self-confidence and physical fitness, learning how to take initiative, and how to make decisions. Throughout their cadet careers, these youth learn how to take responsibility for their actions and how to motivate their peers to follow their example.
