VETS Canada is registered Canadian charity based in Nova Scotia and serving all of Canada. Our mission is to provide immediate and on-the-ground support to Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP veterans who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or in crisis.

We help veterans through outreach activities and by providing financial and peer support as needed. Our national network of hundreds of volunteers means we have boots on the ground across Canada, looking for and assisting homeless and in-crisis veterans.

In addition to our work of helping veterans who are homeless or otherwise in crisis, we have a program called Guitars for Vets Canada that puts the healing power of music in the hands of heroes. Canadian veterans and still-serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP with service-related injuries or disabilities can get a free guitar, access to online lessons, and - where instructors are available - 10 weeks of in-person guitar lessons.
