About Nechako Valley Community Services Society
Nechako Valley Community Services (NVCSS) is a registered non-profit society (incorporated in 1977) which provides counselling and primary prevention programs for children, youth and adults in Vanderhoof, Fort St James, and Fraser Lake. Operating out of three offices in three communities, NVCSS currently employs 75 staff. NVCSS operates Riverside Place (a residence for seniors and persons with disabilities) two group homes for adults with special needs, and three social enterprise businesses that provide supportive employment for youth and adults with disabilities. NVCSS is innovative and responsive to our communities’ socio-economic needs and will collaborate to design and deliver quality client-centred programming. We are a well-respected, vibrant and resilient organization that models exemplary practices with stakeholders.
