About Us
The Hamilton Conservation Foundation was founded as a registered charity in 1976. Our charitable number is 859975617 RR0001.
The Foundation exists to raise support and funding for the Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA) and has done so for more than 36 years. The HCA is legislated under the Ontario Conservation Authorities’ Act and charged with the duty of managing renewable natural resources on a watershed basis. The Foundation raises capital and endowment funds, and will accept gifts of cash, securities, land and relevant in-kind donations. The Foundation gratefully accepts bequests and other Legacy gifts.
