We invite the communities of Bowmanville and Newcastle to work in partnership to welcome refugee families in need.
Your Donation enable the parishioners at St. John’s Anglican Church in Bowmanville to Make Jesus Known. At St. John’s, we are intentionally making Jesus known through worship, learning and faithful community engagement.
Your Donation will support Sunday morning services at 8 am and 10 30 am as well contemporary services such Open Circle (relaxed modern service, including modern music) and Messy Church, a family friendly gathering with stories, crafts and children friendly food. We offer Sunday school and a Youth Ministry. We have ongoing Bible studies as well as special studies throughout the Church season. We are always seeking opportunities to engage with our community faithfully, from community knitting, outreach to migrant workers, social media, traditional newsletters, to booths at festivals and community dinners. Our volunteers are grateful for your prayerful consideration and donation.
