Adler University, Vancouver is delighted to announce its first endowed scholarship fund for Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology & Master of Counselling Psychology Students.

A generous gift from Dr David Kirkpatrick in memory of his late wife Clair will endow the

Dr Clair Ladner Hawes Memorial Scholarship. 

Eligible students in the second year of their Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology or Master of Counselling Psychology will demonstrate a commitment to Dr Hawes’ special interests in one-on-one counselling, couples counselling, family therapy or PTSD treatment.

Dr Hawes’ great passion in life was learning and sharing her knowledge of individual and couples therapy. She loved to connect with colleagues and students and to teach a class that both engaged and excited those in attendance. A founding faculty member of the Adlerian Training Institute, she taught for many years around the world at the International Committee of Adlerian Summer Schools and Institutes (ICASSI) and was a much loved adjunct faculty member at Adler University in Vancouver.
