Anchor & Thread Community Services (Formerly Battlefords & Area Sexual Assault Centre) is committed to supporting survivors of sexual assault and/or abuse through the provision of accessible counselling and advocacy services. Our counsellors and staff are caring, experienced, and qualified individuals who are dedicated to supporting survivors through their healing journey.  Our counsellors also support survivor’s family, friends, and loved ones as they participate in the survivor’s journey.  In addition, Anchor & Thread is invested in the healing of our communities from lasting effects of sexual violence.

Our counselling methods are based on current scientific research and on the experience of our counsellors.
