Bluewater Refugee Education Project’s (BREP’s) primary activity is to advance the education of European refugees and other displaced persons.

BREP’s charitable efforts are focused on identifying and supporting refugees and other displaced persons in Eastern and Central Europe who would qualify for post-secondary education but whose condition, economically and/or socially, precludes their being able to advance their education and become significant contributors to society. Our goal is to help those refugees who would otherwise be unable to pursue their aspirations for a higher education and potentially help them either contribute to their local society, or if desired, to immigrate to Canada to contribute to the Canadian economy as highly skilled workers.

Gifts designated toward an approved program or project will be used as designated where possible. However, when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the Board of Directors, the charity reserves the right to redirect the funds to other programs or to the general purposes of the organization.
