The Season of Sharing campaign ensures that children and youth supported by child welfare feel included, valued, and supported during a season that can otherwise bring financial pressure and uncertainty.

Through this campaign, we are specifically raising funds to purchase gift cards for youth aged 12 and older. These gift cards give young people the opportunity to choose something meaningful for themselves, whether that is clothing, personal items, experiences, or something that reflects their identity and interests.

For teens, choice matters. It restores independence, respects their voice, and allows support to feel personal rather than prescriptive.

While community toy drives remain an important part of the broader Season of Sharing initiative, financial donations allow us to respond flexibly and ensure older youth receive inclusive support that is age-appropriate, empowering, and impactful.
