We are FARE: The Foundation for the Advancement of Racial Equity.
We are a grassroots charitable organization that came together by like-minded professionals with a passion for community service and advancing equity. We saw a need within our community of community organizations. Some need a charity partner to access available funding. Some are start-ups that could benefit from support to build capacity and get their program off the ground. All are zealous advocates for their community and contribute to a racially just and equitable Canada. So, we created FARE.
Vision: A racially just and equitable Canada.
Mission: We rally resources and build partnerships to strengthen the capacities of racialized communities in achieving a racially inclusive, just, and equitable society. We pursue this mission through grant-making, fundraising, collaboration, and support for equity-deserving organizations and groups.
