The mission of the Habilitas foundation is to ensure that people of all ages with physical disabilities receive the best rehabilitation possible to maximize their quality of life, while helping them realize their full potential.
Born out of the MAB-Mackay, Constance Lethbridge and Camp Massawippi foundations (Lethbridge, Layton, Mackay) the Habilitas Foundation is a Montreal-based foundation that dreams of a world where physical disabilities are no longer disabling.
The Lethbridge-Layton Mackay Rehabilitation Centre offers physically challenged and disabled people of all ages, the programs and services they need to help them achieve independence.
This includes, amongst others, family-centered adaptation, rehabilitation and social integration services to children with motor or language impairments and to persons of all ages who are blind or visually impaired and/or deaf or hard of hearing.
