Our Mission
Established in November 2001, the Gibsons & District Library Foundation Society provides enhancement funds to the Gibsons & District Public Library, above and beyond government core funding, through the support of individuals and other organizations. The Foundation facilitates and promotes greater use of the Library by the provision of improved facilities, materials, and equipment and the Foundation will receive gifts, bequests, funds, and property to hold, invest, administer, and distribute for this purpose.
About Us
The Gibsons & District Library Foundation Society is a registered charity, overseen entirely by community volunteers, that operates as a separate and distinct organization from the Gibsons & District Public Library. However, we work closely with the Library Board and staff to ensure that our donors' contributions are put to the best use.
Your gift to the Foundation allows us to continue to help augment and enrich Library services not covered by core funding and to offer support for the growing needs of the Library and the community.
