About the Migrant Worker Community Program (MWCP)

The Migrant Worker Community Program, located in Leamington, Ontario, was founded in 2002 with the aim of supporting migrant workers in their journey within Canada. Our mission is focused on providing comprehensive support services that cater to the well-being of migrant workers, assisting in their integration into Canadian society. From mental health support and legal guidance to building community connections, we're dedicated to ensuring every migrant worker receives the support they need.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of our mission became even more evident. We expanded our services to include vaccination clinics and additional support to help migrant workers navigate through the challenging period. As we move forward, our primary services have adapted to meet the most pressing needs of our community:

• Language Classes: Providing language courses to aid in daily communication and professional development.
• Community Events: Organizing events to foster community engagement and cultural exchange.
• Legal and Social Assistance: Delivering advice and support on visa applications, social assistance programs, and more.
