Founded in 2008 in BC as Okanagan Chinese Canadian Association, our Okanagan organization has grown to embrace and support members and families from diverse Asian, in addition to, other cultural backgrounds. To reflect our true Multi-Cultural profile, in 2019 our name was legally changed to OCCA Communities Association, in keeping with our mission as stated above. Currently, with over 1000 members, our association services the following ethnic communities: African, Caribbean, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese. Additional ethnic communities are welcomed to join OCCA Communities Association in the future.

All funding assistance is greatly appreciated, with donations directed to one or more of the following objectives:

1) Expanding community programs, notably extending services to seniors during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
