We work to break the cycles of violence and abuse in families through counselling, support groups, education, and advocacy and serve residents of Alberta (groups), Greater Edmonton, Sturgeon County, Parkland County, and surrounding areas.
About the Stop Abuse in Families Society:
Since 1988, the Stop Abuse In Families (SAiF) Society has supported individuals who are experiencing abuse and bullying and their devastating effects on families. We offer individual and group counselling to adults and youth, provide educational prevention programs to schools and youth groups, and coordinate the elder abuse prevention and response program in our local communities.
We are funded by community and private donations, fundraisers, and program grants so we are able to offer our supports and services for free.
